4. Scape room

Hi everybody, we are here again to explain you the fourth project we have made to the subject "Integrating Skills". This one consists on making a scape room to the children, based in a topic. We think it's a great idea.

First, we show them the mindmap we did in the last presentation, because in this way they could see the vocabulary.

In the first level, the participants should put the “flashcards” in their correct container. When they arrive to the end, they will be able to watch a word of four letters that will take them to the next clue.

Inside the book, there are some parts of the puzzle that will take them to the next level. The first idea is to complete the puzzle, but sometimes there can finde some clues without the need to finish it.

This clue will take them to the next level. The maze.

In this level, they should choose the correct way and put the photos in their containers. But it’s not the objective, but to reach the end and read the next clue.

From here, the tests begin outside the class.

When the participants arrive to the elevator, they will find a map with the location of four photos. They will form a sentence and in the fourth they will have the next and last clue.

Once they have found each part of the sentence, they will have to go to the last test.

Finally, with the number four, there is a box with letters to make words of the vocabulary of “recycling”. The team that makes the longest word, it will have the privilege to appear in our blog.

The longest word was this one:

The day of the presentation, we saw the projects of our classmates, and we have some photos to show you:

We liked a lot the one of Halloween, the group 5, because they prepare a lot of materials, and they had a good presentation. But we have to say that our favourite was the group 1, the made an incredible work and their clues and tests were the faniest.

These are Rosa and Jose, the two of us that presented this project:

And this is us:

When we finished the projects, the teacher prepared a vote in the webpage "menti", to choose the best one, and these were the results:

We have enjoyed so much doing this project, and we think it's a good way to work with children, especially when it's a complex topic. They will have more interest doing this type of activities, and they are more likely to learn more.

We hope you like this project, see you!
